Centralized/decentralized states - Trends Upward spiral changing between decentralized and centralized states

Societies have alternated between decentralized and centralized government models.

The state has centralized or decentralized following the economy’s centralization or decentralization.

Primitive society was decentralized.

Slavery saw the introduction of the centralized state.

Slave states collapsed in the transition to decentralized Land-duty states.

The rise of capitalism was preceded by the centralized absolute monarchies. After these monarchies were overthrown, centralized modern states formed.

Following this pattern, the next stage after capitalism should be decentralized.
